Tenyce Mack

Tenyce began her dance journey at the age of two at The Talent Factory, where she trained in both competitive dance and cheer, building a strong foundation in movement, athleticism, and technique. In 2018, she continued her training at Elevate Dance and Fitness, where she trained extensively until graduating in 2022.

Her passion for dance quickly evolved into teaching, as she began instructing at just 10 years old and has continued to share her knowledge ever since. Throughout the years, Tenyce has worked with dancers of all ages, refining technique, conditioning, and performance quality, and has taught, choreographed, and substituted at multiple studios throughout California.

From 2022–2023, Tenyce was a member of the Grand Canyon University Dance Team, performing at men’s basketball games and competing at the national level, where the team earned a Division I national championship in the “Game Day Live” division.

She is currently in her fourth year as a UDA staff member, mentoring dancers across multiple states. Tenyce has served as an assistant choreographer for Arizona State University’s D1A national championship-winning jazz routine and Sacramento State’s top-five finish at NDA Nationals. She has choreographed for multiple high schools in Arizona and is the choreographer for Glendora High School, where the varsity pom team went undefeated during her first season with the program.

This is Tenyce’s second season with Phoenix Dance Studio, and she is excited to step into her role as the Lightning Team company coach. With extensive experience as both a performer and educator, she continues to push her artistry forward while also inspiring the next generation of dancers to thrive and grow!
